The Minnesota Trapshooting Association has received the ATA Target Rebate check for 2020.
It states in the ATA By-laws that a State can only receive the rebate check IF they hold their State Shoot, which we couldn’t due to the Governor’s executive order restrictions.
The ATA gave the State Associations a chance to receive the rebate IF a letter explaining the circumstances why the shoot couldn’t be held was submitted and met their criteria.
President Matt Bickell did submit the requested letter and the MTA did receive the rebate check for $6169.00.
Minneapolis Gun Clubwww.mplsgunclub.com Jackpot Shoot every Saturday through April 2021

Drake served on the Board of Directors of the Central Minnesota Gun Club for many years. He was also a coach for the CMGC Youth Program.
Del-Tone is where he started shooting registered targets in 1975 and for decades later, he could be found at the classification table. One of his youth students was Scott Arvig who now owns Del-Tone Trap Range. Drake attended the 100th Grand where, on Monday, he dropped 3 on the first trap and ran the rest, and no trophy.
He was an avid fisherman & guide and enjoyed his annual goose hunting trip to Canada for 33 straight years.
He is survived by his son Kelly and daughter Kari, and his two sisters Marlene Desris and Katrina Hall.
There will be a gathering for friends at Del-Tone on Feb 6, 2021 from 2-4pm.
MTA/ATA members: With the Coronavirus limiting our activity, you should check the Gun Club's website and the ATA website to see if the Jackpot Shoots or the ATA Registered shoot has not been delayed or cancelled for a particular Club.

Jackpot Warm-up Shoot
The MGC Jackpot Warm-up started a little slow due to rain but it cleared up and turned out to be a very nice day. Summer temps with a little breeze to cool you off. Well, some of us were very cold and one guy was on FIRE!!!
What a beautiful day for shooting trap at MGC. Temps hit about the 82 degree mark and the humidity was a bit thick but a slight breeze made it very bearable. The scores as you will see were very competitive. We had several ties to be decided by shoot off or other means based on shooter's preference. Click here for the results
